Please note that most home PCs are set up to allow you to install software (users have administrative rights). However, some business PCs are set up so that
users cannot install software without permission from their company (users do not have administrative rights).
If you are a business user and do not have permission to install Messenger, please contact your system administrator or IT department.

Note: Messenger for Macintosh is not currently compatible with Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Installation Instructions
To download eFax Messenger, please click the appropriate download link and do one of the following:
- To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
- To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk.
- If you saved the installation program to disk, double-click on the .exe file you downloaded to begin the installation.
- Click Next to begin installing Messenger. To do an automatic installation, click on the Install button.
- Click on the Advanced Setup button if you would like to choose a different language preference and install location.
- Click Finish.
Note: Once the install is complete, you will be asked to submit your
eFax number and PIN in order to use all of eFax Messenger's features.

To Send a Fax:
Create a document in OpenOffice.org.
- Click on the eFax toolbar button.
- Enter recipients fax number.
- Click send fax.
